For Today
Hello everyone!
I was checking out some creative blogs and ran across one that had a 'for today' list so I thought that I would share my 'for today' list today.
outside my window....the clouds have overcast the sky, looks like there might be a chance for rain (I love rainy days)
i am thinking....I'm gonna have a busy holiday this year, what with our 2nd daughter due in early November, oh what fun!
i am thankful for....all the blessings: my wonderful husband, my sweet daughter, the awesome family connection (even though I don't see them as often as I would like) and a great resource of friends & co-workers that I admire and adore
from the kitchen....dirty dishes from this mornings breakfast and the left over coffee that baby & I couldn't finish
i am wearing....a green short sleeve maternity top that my best friend loaned me and a pair of tan maternity shorts that I bought to get me through the summer with baby on board
i am creating....another layout, this one features my husband and our daughter @ a softball game from last year - she is quite the cheerleader even @ 2 1/2
i am going....to meet two friends from work this morning for coffee (which is why I didn't finish mine from earlier) and then this evening my daughter & I have a siblings class to attend @ St. Lukes's Hospital, I hope it will give Liberty a better understanding of what's gonna happen once baby Justice gets here
i am reading...."twelve times blessed" by Jacquelyn Mitchard, but it's been almost a week since I've had a chance to pick it up, only about half way through, hopefully I finish it before baby comes
i am hearing....a fire truck honking, a very noisy truck, and the sweet & simple sounds of the birds (which are in full chorus now)
around the house....the dryer is buzzing @ me to let me know that load is done, and "Diego" is singing 'coming to the rescue' on the big screen in the living room, while Liberty totes around her baby doll who is apparently crying for no reason
one of my favorite things.....as of right now - is feeling this tiny creature inside my belly squirm around and then (like yesterday) going and watching her in a sonogram and actually seeing what I am feeling inside on the tv monitor - that is totally cool!
a few plans for the rest of the week....wish I could say that I had a trip to Paris lined up with a stop in @ my long time friend Johnny Depp's ranch in the South of France, but I'm afraid that would be just a day dream - in fact the only thing I have planned the rest of the week is work... work ... and more work - the reality of a very married, full-time mother of 'almost' two

Well this is all I have for today, I was hoping to share some photos but that didn't happen so oh well... on with it. Hope you are having a great start to your work week, but don't forget to enjoy the in-between-time too.
