Election 2008

Just a quick note to say HOORAY! Obama wins and I couldn't be more thrilled! I realize that there are a lot of people that are not ready for a black president and that's okay. It's also okay to be concerned for our families and our future, I have concerns of my own but the fact is that this IS America and anything is possible-even the impossible, that's the reason we all love this country so much. For myself and my daughter's sake, I'm just amazed to be a part of such a huge historical moment in our nation's history. This is a new chapter for America and we will not be the same as before, we will be better. Think of your grandparents and their parents and all the stories they told, the historic and awesome events that took place within their life time, ..... this is our story, right now, let's make it a great one to pass down to our grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Because we are human we have an unfathomable faith, because we are Americans we have unrelenting stubbornness, let us not be at war any longer neither here nor elsewhere, lets just LIVE & let live.
